I felt like Emma is going through the same things as Will went through in trying to convince Jules that she doesn't love him to save him, just as Will had to lie to Tessa to keep her safe. 

(Plus TID and TDA give off a lot of the same feels :) Hopefully, Emma's story ends as rewarding as Will's did ;) )
